Cook Co. Boycott of Arizona Businesses Costs Taxpayers

Should Cook County burden taxpayers with costs of political statements against laws of another state? In this case, the Cook County Board opted to pay $25,000 more for uniforms in order to avoid working with an Arizona-based company. Kudos to WLS AM 890 for reporting this story. Will other media outlets help to better inform taxpayers about issues like this?
